“I love the Bible. I have leaned into scripture since my tough teen years where I, a “Christian,” got pregnant at 14, had the baby at 15, and within hours of giving birth had her die in my arms. I couldn’t seem to wrap my immature mind around what to do with all of “this.” I started praying for wisdom, patterning my prayers after young Solomon from the Bible, “God, give me wisdom.” I followed my calling to Trinity Bible College where I met my husband and now fellow Pastor and partner in ministry, Shawn Hennessy. We now both preach at Life Church Green Bay, are planting a church in Seattle, and speak at churches, conferences, retreats and corporate events.”

Why Sonny Speaks

With a variety of topics, Pastor Sonny Hennessy is a dynamic and vulnerable speaker, committed to spreading joy and inspiration wherever she speaks. She is Theology trained and a perpetual student of Jewish context.

Besides Pastoral ministry, Sonny served as the Marketing Director of IKEA Michigan and again as Marketing Director for a multi-state organization before moving to Green Bay 2012. She is the CEO of The Exchange brand which currently includes A Coffee, Eatery & Mercantile, A Salon & Parlor, A 20 acre Retreat Property, a Cigar Lounge and other Real Estate holdings. She is a WA Real Estate Broker, Interior Designer and serial entrepreneur. She has spoken at national corporate conferences, leadership events, and is a regular keynote speaker for inspirational sessions at conventions.

(Honorarium Minimums: $1,500 for Retreats, $2,500 for Keynote or Sunday Services, *plus airfare and accommodations.)
